HCF’s Classic CSA Shares
Our CSA shares, delivered throughout the western Lake Superior area from Duluth to Ashland to Bayfield, are a mix of the freshest organic produce of the season, harvested at the peak of flavor and delivered either weekly or every-other-week (EOW). Each delivery comes with a hearty portion of 7 to 12 different items: something crunchy, something juicy, a leafy green, items to cook and others to snack on fresh. Summer Share - Early June to early October for 18 weekly deliveries - $640 (Farm-to-Door* $766)

*We offer a Farm-to-Door delivery option for all of our share choices delivered to the Twin Ports and Chequamegon Bay. In short, those folks living in Duluth, Superior, Ashland and Washburn can have shares delivered right to your front door! Home delivery is only available within the boundary denoted on the map (Duluth-Superior or Chequamegon Bay).

Pastured Meat Shares
Pastured Pork Share, 25+ lbs. - Includes a selection of tasty chops, steaks, ground pork, roasts, and bacon - $199.00. Limited shares available for immediate delivery or order for delivery in November, 2024.
Grass-fed Lamb Share - A 10+ lb. share of delicious grass-fed lamb cuts that may include a selection of rib, loin, and shoulder chops, roasts, ribs, ground, shank, and stew meat - $149.00. Available or delivery right to your door!

Free Shipping! All meat shares are delivered right to your door (available to any address in Wisconsin or Minnesota).
All of our meat shares are processed at a USDA inspected, family-run facility and are fresh frozen, vacuum-packed and labeled to assure quality.

CSA Delivery Sites
From Duluth to High Bridge to Bayfield (and many points in between), Hermit Creek Farm has a delivery site near you.
When choosing a delivery site, please note the day and times available. Do these work with your schedule?
Duluth-Superior (all twin Ports deliveries are on Wednesdays).
Chester Creek - At Sara’s Table Chester Creek Café on 8th Street in Duluth is the absolute perfect location for a CSA delivery. The café embodies the idea of food = community, featuring local foods and brews and simple seasonal eating in a neighborhood setting. Look for our white CSA trailer. Shares available 3 to 8pm (winter 3-5pm).
Wussow’s Concert Café - West Duluth’s premier concert coffeehouse and plain old great spot to grab a bite to eat and a hot or cold brew. Owned by a HCF CSA member who features locally grown food on the menu and locally grown music on the stage, Wussow’s is a perfect spot to pick up your CSA share in West Duluth. Shares available 2-6pm.
Lakeside - An east side Duluth drop site at a generous CSA’s members house in the vicinity of Gladstone and 45th Ave East. A plus for this site is the gorgeous garden you walk through to pick up your box! Shares available 3:30-7pm.
Superior - Our Superior drop site is at the home of a long-time CSA member who single-handedly convinced us to expand our CSA delivery to the Twin Ports! The site is easy to access just off Belknap Ave. Shares available 1:30-6pm.
NRRI (an employee only drop site) - Employees at the Natural Resources Research Institute can pick up CSA shares right where they work. Shares available after 2:30pm.
Hermantown - This drop site is at the home of a CSA member. Shares available 3-6pm
Chequamegon Bay & Vicinity
Chequamegon Food Cooperative - Ashland’s premier local, organic food hub. We’ve partnered with the Co-op for the past 30 years to bring fresh local food to the Bay Area. Convenient downtown location, self-serve CSA pick-up makes the Co-op a terrific spot to pick up your CSA share. Deliveries available Tuesdays & Fridays. Shares available 2pm to close.
Coco Café & Bakery - In Washburn, Coco’s was still under construction when owner/baker extraordinaire Noreen called and offered her soon to open space as a CSA drop site. We jumped at the opportunity and have had a locally grown connection with Coco’s ever since. Deliveries available Tuesdays (summer & fall, winter we shift this delivery site to the Chequamegon Food Co-op). Shares available 3pm to close.
Bayfield Recreation Center - Centrally located and a hub of community activity. Delivery on Tuesdays. Shares available 2:30pm to close
Northlakes Clinic - Pick up your CSA share at either the Ashland (Clinic employee’s only) or Iron River (open to the public) campuses. Ashland delivery is on Tuesdays after 1:30pm. Iron River delivery is on Wednesdays after 1pm.
Hermit Creek Farm - Pick up your share right on the farm at our Broeniman Road packing house location in High Bridge. Available at the farm Tuesday or Friday. Shares available after 1pm.

We offer a Farm-to-Door delivery option for all of our share choices delivered to the Twin Ports as well as Ashland and Washburn. Those folks living in Superior, Duluth, Ashland and Washburn can have shares delivered right to your front door! HOME DELIVERY IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN DULUTH-SUPERIOR and ASHLAND-WASHBURN (click to see maps of our Farm-to-Door delivery area) and includes a per delivery surcharge added to the share price.
